Van Gogh Alive

Van Gogh Alive – Australia
I was commissioned by Grande Exhibitions to design and produce the finished artwork for the 68-meter-long facade of Van Gogh Alive Australia.

The primary challenge was working with Van Gogh’s original paintings, which are famously small, and adapting them for such an expansive scale without losing their impact. The brief called for the integration of eight of Van Gogh’s floral artworks into a single, cohesive mural.
To achieve this, I extracted the floral elements from their original backgrounds, vectorised them to create a mosaic effect for seamless upscaling, and arranged them on an oversized canvas according to their colour palettes.

The final result was a visually stunning installation that celebrated Van Gogh’s artistry, allowing visitors to experience the enchantment of Van Gogh Alive even before stepping inside.
